I know, I know.  There are many of you reading this who saw the headline and immediately thought: “but people can change!”.

Cool.  Great.  But guess who isn’t going to hire those people?  Me. And a boatload of other people that run companies.

Check this out. There’s a bill that’s under consideration in the U.S. House of Representatives called the “Unmasking ANTIFA Act of 2018”.  It’s been proposed by – shocker – not Democrats.

Rep. Dan Donovan (R-NY), Rep. Peter King (R-NY), Rep. Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.), and Rep. Ted Budd (R-N.C.) put the legislation forward under which anyone wearing a mask who injures, threatens, intimidates, or oppresses people “in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege” will be imprisoned for up to 15 years.

Big surprise – ANTIFA is up in arms.  They think it isn’t Constitutional.  For a second they almost fooled us into thinking that they care about the Constitution or law and order.  This is the same group that typically dresses in black, dons masks and uses violence and riots to block conservative speakers and events.

Frankly I think we should be designating them a domestic terror organization.  But I’ll focus on what I know – which isn’t how to pass legislation.

I know how to hire people. And, for that matter, how to NOT hire them.  And so here’s what I would like to see.

Unmask these clowns… and create a database of their names and faces for hiring managers and business owners.  We need to protect our country… but we also need to protect our companies.

Perhaps a little public humiliation can help do just that.  What do you think?
