I’ve been watching the election races develop across Connecticut… which are basically a microcosm of what’s happening across the country.

Republicans are running on platforms that include fiscal responsibility, family values and supporting our law enforcement and veterans while standing up for the Constitution.

Democrats are running on, well, feelings and resisting President Trump.

One particular race has stood out for me.  It’s in the 62ndDistrict.  I’ve watched as the debate between incumbent William Simanski and Amanda Webster has heated up… and I’ve found it to be fascinating.

You have a man who has served his community and his country and is basically a gentle grandfather-type with a passion for putting others first.  Then you have a passionate mother who wants to bring change.

I believe that change, however, is rooted in a plethora of problems – much like most of the positioning statements of Democrats.

Her supporters in her town are those who proudly kneel for The National Anthem.  Her position is one against guns.  And the man she’s running against has been seemingly too kind to ask her the tough questions.

So I’d like to do just that.

I can’t imagine she’s just take me up on an opportunity to speak to the masses… so I’d like to provide some incentive for her to do so.

Amanda – come out to our studio in Manchester, Connecticut.  You and I will have a question/answer session.  We’ll agree upon the topics in advance.  I promise distribution among a massive audience. And if you agree to it… my agency will donate $10,000 in video production services to the police department in your town of Granby, Connecticut.

It’s a great opportunity for her to get her message out there AND to give back to the community, even if she isn’t elected…  don’t you think?
